The 11th Annual Model Boat Show will be held for three days this year-July 18th, 19th & 20th at Clayton Recreation Park Arena on the mezzanine level as a special exhibit of the Decoy Show. This Model Boat Show with scratch built and kit built classic wooden boats is unique in that it is one of very few in the entire USA. A Viewers' Choice Award is voted on by the public and a Builder's Choice Award is voted on by the modelers.

Saturday, July 19…..….9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 20………10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This will be the 11th annual year of a fast growing show in both the number of exhibitors and viewers. Builders come from Florida to Ontario, Canada and Massachusetts to Ohio and many ports in between. Viewers are from throughout the US and Canada.

Builders bring their best, and after crewing with other builders and swapping ideas, their second year boats were even better. In 1999, boats included birch bark canoes, sail boats of all sizes, live steam boats, runabouts and lake freighters. Boats were both kit and one of a kind scratch built replicas.
